In this world nobody wants to grow up and be a part of barriers which restrict human relationships. Barriers like Religion, Caste, Colour, Creed, Language, Customs, and of rich and poor. A person grows up witnessing such barriers, if not then people around make him 'grow'. Personal experiences, violent disturbance or burdens make an individual grow up. Once in every individual's life there is an event or happening which changes the makeover of a person. The outlook towards life is taken in a more mature and wise manner. We learn everyday from little happenings and conversations around us. Thus, the outcome of learning from other's experiences, makes one strong and ready to take on the world. Also at the same time, it is the way you deal with your life, whether you are an Optimist or a Pessimist.
As I child, I was a atypical girl but introvert yet friendly. I was never good at studies. But I was always confident. From my little experience, I have gathered it is not the marks or the badge of House Captain that matters. It is your own individuality that surpasses your credentials. What matters is your identity and uniqueness to carry forward a task.
I want to share a few incidents about my life to our readers. When I was in the 7th standard, my Moral Science teacher had an interesting exercise for us. She told us to write our strengths as well as our weakness on a piece of paper.I stood up and mentioned my strength as being a versatile girl. Whereas, Lethargy being my weak point. She was quite surprised when I mentioned about being ‘Versatile’. As I mentioned, I was a below average student. The ‘grumble’ look and comments made me join several co-curricular activities and even made me able to groom my sportiveness and art inside me.
Recently my best friend found me inappropriate to work with and thought that I had not come out of overshodowing yet. Well it went on for a couple of months. I was able prove ablities to be better then what was thought, this gave me chance to relaize my ablity.
Some people may be discouraged or upset by such a remark. I want to make people aware that do not underestimate the other person across you. And most importantly, never let the other individual's opinion affect you. I just want to convey to my fellow readers, it is your individuality that matters, not marks. Even if people think you are not capable of any task. Do not let it suppress you; rather take it as a challenge.
